Your Hot Air Balloon adventure begins when you meet your Pilot and Flight Crew approximately a 1/2-hour before sunrise or 2 hours before sunset in a quaint little town known as Elora. At the launch site, your flight crew will brief you on your upcoming balloon adventure. Then, you will watch with awe as your balloon takes shape before your eyes, ultimately standing more than 10 stories tall. Once fully inflated and ready for take off, you will climb into the gondola and begin your Hot air ballooning adventure that will give new meaning to the word serenity. If you are wondering how cold it will be, what we suggest is simply dressing as if going skiing or snowshoeing and we guarantee you will be toasty warm which indeed will make you forget all about Winter's cold and become enchanted at the gorgeous Winter scenery!

During your flight you will get a spectacular bird's eye view of the picturesque Elora and Fergus Winter sights as you gently drift over the countryside where you will watch out for wildlife and take in the magnificent views. Depending on wind direction you may gently drift over the Elora Gorge, and follow the river as it winds and carves the landscape. Here you will have many opportunities to take pictures of the marvelous country winter views.

After about an hour in the air, your pilot will be on the look out for a safe landing spot. This will add to this exciting experience as you slowly and gently glide down towards the ground, here the balloon may almost skim tree tops and corn fields which definitely gives you a glimpse of the 'bird eye view'. Once on the ground, together with your crew, you will share in the oldest of ballooning traditions; a winter version of the champagne toast; delicious hot chocolate with a splash of Bailey's Irish Creme liquer! After the celebration your crew, pilot will be shuttled back to the original meeting spot where you can make your way home or enjoy a wonderful meal in some of Elora's finest restaurants.

Flights are approximately 1 hour in length, however we do require you for up to 3 1/2hours.

Should your flight be cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, simply call our office and reschedule your flight at your convenience for the next available flight of the same value. Upon reservation we will send you travel documents outlining, the precise meeting spot, a map, items your should bring with you as well as what you should wear. Cross Country Skiing Clinics in Muskoka Country

Come out on a winter days adventure and experience the new winter thrill that is taking Ontario by storm. Our dog sledding daytrips, whether you decide to take a half-day or full-day tour are an excellent introduction to the spectacular sport of dog sledding. Your guide and musher is Brad Fetterley and he will make sure your trip is as enjoyable as it can be! You will meet Brad and your dog team at a rustic farm just north of Huntsville, Ontario and from here you will be pulled through some of the finest forests in Ontario! Dog sledding is a thrilling way to experience the Algonquin winter. Frozen lakes, waist deep snow, wildlife tracks, the howl of a wolfpack, and the uncanny silence of a snow–laden forest await. No experience necessary!

This is a very interactive trip - you will help harness the dogs, hook them up the sleds, and learn how to issue the commands, such as..."Hike Up"! Off you will race as the dogs strain at their harnesses, happy to be running once again. After they settle down into their natural pace, you will steer them into the Muskoka trails. On the flat parts of the trail you can relax with the wind blowing in your face, and watch the majestic forest silently glide by!

You will travel 2 adventurers per sled, pulled by a 6 dog team. On the full day trips you will stop at mid day to build a fire and have a traditional Canadian "bush lunch". Afterwards you continue on along the twisting trails, eventually ending back up at your starting point. Guests will have the opportunity to unharness their team and say their good byes before heading back home. This is definitely an experience you don't want to miss!
